About
Reed and Flax Community Services is a faith-based community organization. Isaiah 42:3, “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out; he will faithfully bring forth justice.” This verse signifies God’s gentle approach to achieve justice for those who are vulnerable, promising not to extinguish their hope.
At Reed and Flax, each consumer works independently with a rehabilitation counselor to assess their goals, disabilities, environment, and the workplace, and how all these areas work together to achieve their independent living goals.

Assistance in connecting with essential services, housing, transportation, and advocacy resources.
Work Ready! Program
We partner with employers to create meaningful employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and give vocational courses.
Job Coaching
Personalized, on-the-job support to ensure long-term success and job satisfaction.
Money Goals
Training and support in budgeting, saving, and achieving financial independence.
Travel Navigation
Skills and coaching to confidently navigate public and private transportation for daily living.
